Charles' father was Sophus Niels Peter Bang (Jr) b. 19 Dec 1881 in Fredriksberg, Kobenhavn. His mother was Maria Klyver. Sophus and Maria were married in Norfolk VA on 7 Dec 1905. (Don't have much info on Maria, but did find her in Buenos Aires on the 1895 Argentina census. Father William Klyver 29, mother Laura E 31, brother William 6)

Sophus' parents were Sophus Niels Peter Bang(Sr)and Ida Anne Marie Kjer.

Sophus Sr. was married twice. 1st on 13 Apr 1861 to Hertha Sophie Madsen. Sophus and Hertha had several children including: Hertha (1862/3) Thora (Oct 5 1869), Julie (Feb 28 1871),and Alfred (1866/7). (Maybe sons Viggo and Christian too, but I couldn't document it)

Sophus married Ida Anne Marie Kjer on 16 July 1875. They had children Inge Sophie (1877/8), Elizabeth (1878/9) and Sophus.

Ida Anne Marie Kjer was born in Vejle on Oct 31 1840 to Thyge Kjer and Gertrud Marie Hjortberg.
