I am responding to Mary Bang who has been keeping her eyes open for any relatives named Robert Bang.

My dad was Alfred D. Bang, Jr. and his dad was Alfred D. Bang, Sr. My dad and his brother, Merton, were born in Minden, NE. They grew up on a farm near Minden.

Their grandfather was Michael Bang (from Denmark) who also had a farm near Minden.

I have a brother, Stephen Bang) who currently lives in the Kansas City, KS area. Steve has a son, Jim Bang, who lives in Davenport, IA. Jim has two sons -- Ryan Bang and Evan Bang.

A Bob Bang (probably Robert) was one of my dad's 40 first cousins.
