I am looking for information on an William Banks who was married to Sara/Sarah Jane Cooper. What I am lookin for his parents I know his father was an Andrew Banks (I think was born in Maryland) and that his mother was an Martha or Mary (Maiden Name Unknown; I hear it might be Long). They are my 3rd Great-Grandparents via they son Alfred N. Banks who married Julia C. Showalter who had a daugher Sennie L. Bank (aka Lena C. Banks in 1900 census) who married a William A. Shetrom who daughter Violet, my grandmother and she married and divorced George C. Haney who had my mother Carolyn. I am getting mix information. One saying William was born in 1835 and other 1840. Please help me.
