I am researching this family as Alice is my son's grandmother. I would love to find more information on Russell. I have that he was born 26 July 1901 and died 19 Jan 1992. Parents were Elijah Monroe Jackson and Ethel May Standiford. I would like to find more information on Russell's grandparents, Thomas Henry Jackson and Martha S. Cole/Susan Cole, and his siblings, Ebert, Elan, Leta, Vesta, and Faye.

JOHN BANKUS - The Rev. Haven Martin will officiate at services for John Ad Bankus, 95, a 43-year resident of Nevada City, at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bergemann and Son Funeral Chapel. The native of Missouri was a retired self-employed carpenter. He died Wednesday in the Nevada City home of his daughter, Alice Anson. In addition to Mrs. Anson he is survived by his children: Marie Miller of Grass Valley; Margaret Milnarich, Nevada City; Lloyd Bankus, Concord; Leroy Bankus, Marysville; Eta Richards, Grass Valley; and Berniece Moffett, Lincoln; a brother, Clarence Bankus of Illinois; 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Burial will be in Vallejo.

I am seeking information on Joseph M. Myers, according to the 1880 census, he was born about 1865. His father was Nicholas Myers (Feb 1840-????) and his mother is Louisa (Bankus) Myers (Jan 1865-????). Nicholas and Louisa were married 4 Nov 1861 in Henry Co, IN. I have found his father, Nicholas, his brother, William H. (May 1870-20 Nov 1924) and his sister, Mary L. Myers (Feb 1873-????) in the Liberty Twp area in 1880, 1900, and 1910 census.

William H. Myers married Lucile Pangburn about 1895. Mary L. Myers married 1)Frank Vanbenthuyson on 11 Jun 1895 and had a daughter, Geneva (1899-????) and then 2)Jabish Luellen on 25 Apr 1903

Can anyone help? I think that Nicholas is my gr-grandfather but I need more info to confirm this.
