I am looking for descendants of John Sharples Banton born 1835 Liverpool, his sister was Jane Agnes Banton born Liverpool married Otto Pohl a salt merchant about 1860. John and Jane's father was John Banton a Sea Captain born in Liverpool 1808 and died off the coast of West Africa about 1842. Some of the ships he sailed on were the "Barbara" as Captain and the "Parkfield". If any one has any connection with these Banton's I would love to here form you.
