My gr grandmother, Jessie Barr was b. 26 May 1856 at 89 Hospital Street, Glasgow. Her mother was listed as Jessie Hannah, ms. Barr. I have now found that John Hannah d. 1852 is not the father of Jessie. Jessie snr,(real name Janet) married Thomas Simpson 13 Sep 1857 and had more children together. Both died in Partick, County of Lanark, Scotland in the 1890's. Jessiejnr was raised by Martha and David Calderwood. I am searching for the connection between the families. Any help appreciated.
