I'm seeking information re Rosalie (spelled Rasule on ship manifest), who's b'day was in 1834-7. She lived in Baden-Baden, Germany,in 1911, but could have had Polish /Lithuanian roots in the area of Vitebsk (the Berman family (Moshe and Shepsel, father and son) of Vilna Guberna, Lithuania). I have had a DNA test linking me to various people throughout the world. She is a Bar-likely person, signified by her last name, which could be the surname of her husband. She is somehow related to an Anna Berg, b. Karlsruhe (now Groetzingen) Germany in 1889. Anna could have been married but she crossed the Atlantic as a 17 year old Single woman. Her son Rudolf Berg was my father. He came 4 years later, probably living with Rosalie Baer, his ggmother. Rosalie's "closest living relative" in 1911 was August Baer. I assume a relative by marriage, but perhaps not. She was widowed by 1911. Anna Berg had her passage paid by Veronika Schmidt, of New Haven. They were likely related. Anna Berg married Robert Gustav Hilse, b. GErmany, resided in New Haven area. They lived there life-long.
