Phyllis, As I understand it, you are interested in information on the Jacob Miller(Mueller) family. Other than my original statement about Jacob Miller, I find only the following references to him in the "Barb(e) Family in America" book: March 18, 1821, Jacob Miller, Golforund Miller, John Pike, and Henry Barb, Jr. witnessed Adam Barb's signature on his will, Shenandoah County, The will was probated on Monday, August 13,1832, also in Shenandoah County, "At a Court, held for the county of Shenandoah, on Monday the 13th day of August, 1832, this, the last will and testament of Adam Barb, decd., was produced into Court and proved by the oaths of Jacob Miller and John Pike, witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, And on the motion of Jacob Barb, one of the Executors therein named, who was sworn and entered into Bond with Adam Barb, Joshua Barb, John Pike, and Jacob Miller, as his securities in the penalty of $2000, conditioned according to law. Certificate is granted him for obtaining probate thereof in due form, Adam Barb, the other Executor in said will named, appearing and refused in open Court to qualify as Executor of said Estate.
