Ed's parents were Wilfred Barbeau (died in 1956 in Detroit, Michigan)and Florence Marie Chouniard (died in CA). Ed died in CA in 1982. Both his mother and father were born in Canada. His mother and father divorced when he was around three years old and both remarried. I never meet his father as he died in Detroit two weeks before Ed & I married. I knew his mother very well as she and Ed moved to California. We all went to Montreal to meet some of her sisters in 1970. I really don't know much about his father because he really never lived with him and got impression from Ed he wasn't to interested in him. He was in the Coast Guard or one of the services during WW2. If you get any information let me know.
