I too am related to the Gatineau/Templeton Barbers...my g-grandfather was Joseph Harmon Barber m. Nancy Elizabeth Wright...they migrated to Saskatchewan via the US. Catherine Helena Barber (sister of Joseph) m. Rudolphus (Ralph) Wright (brother of Nancy) and also migrated to Saskatchewan.
Believe Joseph's and Catherine's parents were Joseph Barber and Elizabeth Langford, both born in Ireland.
Other siblings of Joseph and Catherine: Mary, Richard, Ann, Martha, Charles, & Margaret.
