Valentine was all over NY. The census has him in quite a few locations. He is in Greene Co. just before my ancestor shows up so for some time I thought he was part of our family. I'm not sure now. There is also a Jesse Barber in Greene at the same time. Where did the info come from that they were brothers and came from France???
