Yes, Virginia, we are connected, but only
through Irene Broutin. She is my g-g-g-grandmother
through her child, Claire Cailleteau, born
in Marksvillle of her second marriage, after
Louis Barbin died. Both families of children
lived together in the "Barbin", thereafter
"Cailleteau" home. I understand there may be
other Barbin Cailleteau marriages, but as
yet I do not have that information. I had
researched some Barbin lines thinking that
my g-g-grandmother, Claire, was a Barbin, but
I am sure Georgia Barbin has the better info.
