My g-g-grandmother was Claire Barbin, married
to Alfred Broutin in New Orleans in mid-1800s
but I have not been able to connect to her (or
his) parents. There was another Barbin/Broutin
marriage and many other Barbins I have found,
but no direct link to my g-g-grandparents. If
