Hi, We're just now doing some research via internet. To date, most has been done thru info found in Marksville, Avoyelles Parish, LA., in local library. Quite extensive source, from Prosper Casimir Barbin on down, goes through Revolutionary War, Civil War, etc. We also have a book put together by a Barbin relation that I could try to find names/dates that you may have, if you cannot get to Marksville.
