Oneida- MRs Anna R Young 61 oa seamstress in the work rooms of the red Cross for several years, died Oct. 28, 1942, in City Hospital wher she had been a patient for 11 days. She was forces to relinquish her duties two months ago.
Bron in Michigan Feb 18 1881, Mrs. Young was a daughter of John and Rachel Barcume. She spent most of her life in Oneida. Her husband died several years ago. In recent years she lived at 217 Linden st.
Surviving are a son, Alvord, New York:one brother, Arthur Barcume,Oneida. Three nieces, anna Mae rouse and Irma and ALice Barcume, all of Oneida: tow nephews, John E Barcume, Army War Shows, Indianapolis Ind., and Pvt. William A Barcume, Camp Edison, N.J.
The Funeral will be conducted in the Campbell Funeral home at 2pm Saturday by the Rev. Dr. Carl G McConnell, pastor of First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
