It's been a while since we last posted on the subject, so here goes...

We are looking for information on a Patrick Coyle who immigrated from Ireland to the US sometime in the early 1800s. We know that he was in the US by 1834 as he married Catherine Bardon (sometimes Catharine, sometimes Barden), also from Ireland, in Syracuse, NY on 6 July 1834 (or so we are told). Their first son, Francis Coyle was born in Syracuse the following year and the family eventually went west to Illinois/Wisconsion/Iowa.

We are struggling to find where Patrick and Catherine came from in Ireland. This is our primary goal at the moment. If anyone can help us or point us in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
