I have traced the Bare family back to Virginai in the 1700's, where they were land owners, and slave owners, as well. These men and their families eventually settled in Southern Indiana, mostly Clark Co. I therefore, doubt the Indian beginnings, but do not discount the possiblity of being part Indian somwhere along the line. If you have pictures of some, is there a way to put them on the internet?
