Mary Agnes BARES - grave pic - died 1920s?

Hello,

I rescued a small box of many pictures at a rummage sale in Milwaukee, WI a few years back. There are no surnames in the pile as only a very few pics were marked.

One picture is of a fresh grave site with a cross marker that has the name Mary Agnes Bares on it. In the background is a road were two automobiles are passing or parked, and they appear to be 1920s Model T-type cars, hence the approx date the pic was taken.

The box also has some interesting pictures of people who did gymnastics back in the 30's & 40's -- probably at the old Milwaukee Turner's.

There are some old wedding pics, a few marked 1954 from Manitowoc, WI, and some family groupings etc, but I have no idea who these should belong to. I am hoping the name Mary Agnes BARES belongs to someone?

Contact me if you think you have a connection and want these pictures.

Bares

My grandmother was a Bares. Marie Bares born in New Orleans in 1867. Her brother Etienne Bares born in New Orleans in 1873. Their parents Marie Comminges and Nicholas Bares were from France, the town of Aspet, Department of Haute Garonne. I think Etienne married Margaret Getzman b. Texas, and may have used the name of Edward. They had abt 7 children including Daisy, Ovide (male), Edna (m. Culpepper), Norma (m. Mccaughey), Bernard. Lived in or around Vinton, Calcasieu Parish, LA. Etienne's mother is supposed to have lived with or near him in Vinton. Looking to find out more about him and his family.

Joseph BARES & Katherine POLLESAK

I am trying to find any info on my husbands BARES family. His father's name was Arthur Gabriel Joseph BARES and his mother was Rosamunde KEMP. Arthur was born 24 Mar 1908 in Chicago, Cook Illinois. Arthur's father, Joseph may have been from Germany, Prussia, or Poland. My husband, Dennis, knows nothing about his direct line on Bares, as his parents were divorced. Any help would be appreciated.
