Surnames: BARFKNECHT, INGALLS
Anybody know anything about a Karl Barfknecht who came to Oshkosh, WI, then to Town of Richmond, Shawano County, WI with parents Christian & Wilhelmine Barfknecht around 1875? Was must have been born between 1846 and 1862, but probably more like 1855-1862. Apparently he went to North Dakota, where he changed his name to Charles Ingalls, married and spent the rest of his life there.
