I am helping a friend try to find her ancestors. She believes Fred Barfnecht ( also spelled Barfnerht ) was her great grandmothers father. Her ggrandmother was Amy Barfnecht, her grandmother was Inez Barfnecht born 1892, married to Mearl Wilford. Her mother was Irene Wilford born 1926, married to Raymond Minor. Fred came to Wisconsin from Germany. This is all I have so far and would appreciate any information on this family. Thanks, Shirley
