I'm trying to locate African Americans with the Barge surname. My ancestors came from Fayetteville, NC. I believe they may have been enslaved by the white Barges. Members of the family moved from NC to SC,GA,AL,FL,CA,OH. Am also looking for white Barges who have documents mentioning slaves.
