A Barkhimer Reunion for the descendants of Samuel Barkhimer, 1788 or 99, Henry Barkhimer, 1823, Richard Barkhimer, 1843, they were in Clark & Ouachita Cos, AR....late 1800s-early 1900s, several families still there....White Oak Lake State Park is just north of Chidester, and is north-west of Camden.....If you can make it, please bring lawn chairs, drinks and food (some to share & we'll share ours with you) We will be especially glad to meet you....and if you have any information on the earlier Barkhimers you could share, we'd love to see....Reunion will start early Sat. morning until late that night.
