I am looking for information on Nelson Barksdale. I believe he lived in Albermarle County, Virginia. He married Jane Lewis, the daughter of Jesse Pitman Lewis and his wife, Nancy Clarkson.
Nelson Barksdale's daughter, Sarah Nelson Barksdale, married Col. John (Jacob) Bowcock.
