I have been tracking the census records for one line of Barland's...
Andrew O Barland/Barlond and Ina his wife.
Andrew was born July 1862 in Finland, census states that he migrated to the U.S. in or around 1882.
He shows up with Wife Ina, born in New York March 1868.
The seem to have been married about the year 1888.
I can find names for the follwing children, but one child was deceased by 1900, name unknown.
Letha, born March 1889 Michigan
Everette born Feb 1891 Michigan
Galen born Mar 1893 Michigan
Wilda born Nov 1899 Michigan
Kenneth born Fall of 1909 Michigan

I find them at the following locations:
1900 Kalamo, Eaton County, Michigan
1910 Kalamo, Eaton County, Michigan
1920 Kalamo, Eaton County, Michigan
1930 Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan

Andrew usually is listed as a farmer with a general Farm...
but in 1930 it says he is a laborer in a Wood Yard.

Son Galen R married Anna S.
Galen died 1 August 1974 in Calhoun County, Michigan
Anna S. died 26 Sept 1986 in Calhoun County, Michigan

Galen and Anna's son married my mother's cousin.
I am not a Barlond or Barland.
