It has been some time since you posted your message, but just now found it. I believe your Mr. Barnes was the second husband of my gg grandmother, Elizabeth Ellen Sauter Fisch. They married 16 Nov 1895 in Montezuma, IA. Elizabeth and William A Barnes (as I have him in my records)had three children, Chester, Mearl, and Gladys. Gladys died in childhood.
