Hello,
I really am in need of someones help Ive hit a major brick wall.

My grandfather Joe Louis Barnes was born in Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY in 1905.

On his death certificate if shows his father as Irvin Barnes of Ky and Sarah Noe of KY. However in the Census I could not find an Irvin Barnes or any soundex of the name Irvin Barnes. There was an Irvin H Barnes but he was born in the late 1890's and my Irvin Barnes had chldren at that time.

Marriage took place at the residence of Margaret NOE in Bullitt Co. Witnesses to the marriage were George THOMPSON & Louis JACKSON.

Officiating was O. H. BOLTON, J.P. B.C.

I have found a Phillip(Phellip) Barnes that is listed with a Judith B. Barnes in the census and through research found that her husband was Robert Barnes.

This is the line of Barnes's that moved from ENG to PA to KY and settled in Nelson Co. KY.
