Robert G. Barnette, 64, Erie,pa.
formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Hamot Medical Center. He was born in Erie on June 18, 1945, son of the late Irvin and Irene Crosby Barnette. He was an 18 year veteran of the U. S. Army where he served as an Isotope Specialist at Walter Reed Hospital and several other hospitals in Germany. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Parker Barnette, and a brother, Donald Barnette. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Andre and Alfee Devor Barnette; three brothers, Ervin, David and Curtis Barnette; and two sisters, Pastor Dorothy Ross and Carmen Barnette. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at Law Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave., followed by a service with Pastor Dorothy Ross officiating. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
