My great-grandmother was a Barney (Heline or Helene) from Evansville, Quebec, but I cannot verify such a town exists. I do not know her birthdate. She married Joseph Champagne, from Rhode Island, abt. 1905 and lived in Massachusetts. Her son, my grandfather, Henry Champagne, was born in Northbridge, MA on 11 March 1907. I do not know much about Heline or Helene Barney, but trying to find out.
