Surnames: Barnhart, Stalsby
I am looking for any info you may have on the Barnhart family of Louisiana. My grandfather was Nathan P. Barnhart (wife Rosa Ann Stalsby). He had a brother named George, who later changed spelling of name to Bernard. His father's name was George and supposely died at sea. The family came from Germany. Nathan also had a sister named Cordelia that married Steven Herring. Nathan & Rosa had 12 children. They all have passed away except for Louise Barnhart Crouch, my mother.
