MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lucille Barnhill, 85, of Atalissa, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at Lutheran Homes.
Service will be at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. Pastor Betsey Neipert will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley United Methodist Church.
Lucille was born on January 3, 1920, in Wapello. She married Fred E. Barnhill in 1950, in Kentucky.
She was a member of the West Branch Eastern Star later transferring to Muscatine. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Barnhill of Atalissa; two daughters, Linda Chester of Grays Lake, Illinois and Mary Wedekind of Ft. Worth, Texas; one step-son, Larry Barnhill of North Liberty; three step-daughters, Joan Marie Barnhill of Des Moines, Bonnie Sue James of North Liberty, and Candice Jean Barnhill of Iowa City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
