VENTURED IN TOO DEEP WATER
Cleo: While swimming in the Eagle Chief with some other boys, just north of town Irvin Barnhouse, aged 16 the only son of Jacob Barnhouse was drowned. Mr. Barnhouse is one of the most prominent farmers in this community, and the news of the death of the boy was a great shock to everyone. It seems that the Barnhouse boy was just learning to swim and he ventured out too far.
