Surnames: Royce-Roice/Barnum/Noble
Hi - Can anyone tell me who Elizabeth Roice/Royce (b. <?>, d. 09 May 1856, Woodstock, McHenry, Ill. Married, 06 Jan 1790, Cairo, Greene, NY) mother was? Elizabeth was married to Lyman Noble,b. 05 Mar 1758, New Milford, Litchfield, CT. They had 10 children together. Their 3rd child was, Jabez Barnum Noble, b. 19 Sep 1797, Shoreham,Addison, VT.
Lyman's Rev. War Pension papers says, his wife was Elizabeth Roice and her father Josiah Royce a soldier of the Revolution.
Could her mother have been Mary Barnum? And if so which one? There are so many Mary Barnum's and I can't connect any of them to Josiah or Elizabeth.

Children of Elizabeth & Lyman Noble:
1. Curtis Thorp b. 1792 CT
2. Royce Willis b. 1795 NY
3. Jabez Barnum b. 1797 VT
4. Thirza b. 1798 VT
5. Rebecca b. 1802 VT
6. Ann b. 1805 NY
7. John b. 1807 NY
8. Mary b. 1808 NY
9. Lyman, Jr. b. 1811 NY
10. Miranda Narrany b. 1813 NY

Thank you for any help with this. Patty
