Hi, my wife Patricia also descends from a Joseph Barnum b;14 Aug. 1761 near Danbury CT. He and his wife Salome Dibble had a son Joseph b;1802. Not your Joseph I'm sure, but If you haven't visited Patrick Barnums website Barnum.org, you probably ought to. there are a lot of Joseph Barnums listed there along with many other Surnames.
