Surnames: Barnum, Chapin
looking for any info. that can get me beyond the birth of Joseph Barnum in 1796 in Ct. Relocates at some date unknown to Johnstown Ohio and weds Mary Electa Chapin born 1805 in New York on Jan 31st 1822. They remain in Johnstown until their deaths in 1865. I have been unable to verify the parentage of either Electa or Joseph.If this line sounds familiar to anyone, please contact me as I have much
regarding their children and their descendants up to present day. Children were Augustine born 1823, Samuel born 1825, Marvin born 1828, Austin born 1831, Timothy born 1840.
Surnames related: Keesee, Glass, Kasson, Bayhan, Nelch, Reeder, Abbaduska, Stormer, Brott, Alderson, Jameson, Reeder, and many more. Brothers in line of descent lived in Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Arkansas, and Toronto, Canada.
