Ashbell BARNUM, b. 1848 VT, Search
Seeking more information on my great great grandfather ASHBELL BARNUM (b. October 1848 – d. 1944) and his wife Sarah Ann Cowen (b. 1854 – d. 1886). Ashbell was born in Bennington, VT and he is the son of Zachary Norman BARNUM (b. 19 September 1809) and Mary A. Hall.
Together, Ashbell and Sarah had six children: Alice, Norman Ashbell (my great grandfather), Margaret, Elizabeth, Susan, and Sarah.
Both Ashbell and Sarah are buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, NY, and Sarah is in section H2.
Any information on Ashbell or Sarah’s parents would also be appreciated.
