I have just recently started working on the Owen's Barr line of my family. My Greatgrandmother was the daughter of a Robert Owens and Anne Barr. She grew up in or around the Richland, Montecello, Banks area and was married at Barr's Mill. Recent records have shown that she, her brother Isaac Walter Owens, and other siblings were placed under guardianship of a RR Owens in 1877 or so. The name of their estate was a RW Owens. A WM Barr administrator of the estate for Isaac W. Barr paid the court fees for the guardianship. Census records for 1880 show RR Owens and Louisa Ann Owens with the children. Any ideas on how they are connected?
