I have recently come in contact with a gentleman, Coy Langston, who was born and raised in Alabama. Coy is from the Martha Jane Barr Langston line. Sister of my Mary Ann, and your Isaac Barr. She and Thomas W.P. Langston were married in Jasper Georgia in 1867 and later moved to Pike County Alabama. What fun it is to find long lost cousins!

Coy's grandfather was Isaac Odom Langston. Intersting that the middle name is Odom since Britton's sisters Sarah and Susannah both married Odom brothers. I found a William Odom on the same page in the 1790 U. S. Census as William Barr, William, Gwynn and William Walters. Neighbors that all intermarried.

Coy is going to be visiting Alabama soon and I was wondering if you would like to be in contact with him through email? You seem to know a lot about the Alabama Barr line and I know he is trying to put his family together. He had a sister who did some genealogy that he is working from. Funny thing is that his sister contacted my great aunt Myrtle Huff who I met as a child. Myrtle is who my dad got most of his information from. Small world!
