Looking for parents of Jacob Barr, born 11 Oct 1814 somewhere in
Pennsylvania. Jacob married Sarah (maiden name unknown) and they
were the parents of 10 children: John, Maria (my great-grandmother),
George, Catherine, Walter, Samuel, Mary, Christopher, Sarah and
Matilda. In 1850 and 1860 the family is found in Butler County,
Pennsylvania but by 1870 they are in Putnam County, West Virginia.

The only town I'm certain of is Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
However, my ancestors were also in Clarion, Washington and Alleheny
counties in Pennsylvania. Names:John [should be Jacob?], Sarah,
John, Mariah,George, Catherine, Walter, Mary, Samuel,Christopher,
Sarah and Matilda, the last ten children of the first two.
