Hello. Looking for any information on a Rachel Barr Hudspeth. She was born ~1795 in TN (or KY). She married Ayres Hudspeth and was living in Macoupin Co., IL by 1850 census:

It has been suggested that Rachel was 1/2 Native American. It has also been suggested that she was also married to a Milton Hudspeth who may have fathered my ancestor. I would love to learn more about her but have hit a roadblock for so many years now. My ancestor, Samuel Milton Hudspeth lists Rachel as his mother but may have been his grandmother or other relative. PLEASE share any information (or advice) you may have. Thank you.
