I am trying to find information on Rosario Barerra, born in the late 1800's in Copiapo, Chile & was part of the Guarani Indian people.

I would appreciate any ideas on how to even start searching in Chile - what library or church would I approach, etc. Is there a center for the Indian people ?

Note - there is a thread in this section from 1999 where a Jillian is looking for information on the same person. I think Jillian was helping a relative of ours though I'm not 100% sure.
