I am hoping someone knows something to help open this dead end. I'm looking for my mother's family. My grandmother was killed on 25 Dec 1948 by a drunk driver. My mother and her brother were infants. My grandfather remarried and the children had little contact with their mother's family. Amelia Barraras/Barreras was born on 17 May 1923 in Canutillo, El Paso, Texas. She married Santa Cruz and had two children, Yolanda and Javier, Jr. By looking up the few facts we did have, we believe that her father was Nazario and her mother, Tomasa, from a 1920 census of El Paso, before Amelia was born. Her brothers that we know of are Ysidro, Margarito, Alejandro, Miguel and Martin. Sisters were Ramona, Guadalupe and Teresa. If you have any information which could help, please contact me.
