My information states that Lucretia's sister, Abigail Barrett Drummond was born in Vermont. Moved to St. Joseph Co., Michigan where Abigail and John Drummond's daughter Jane (Algana) was married to David M. McGaffey 12 May 1850. From there John, Abigail, David and Jane and other family members moved to Van Buren County, Iowa. John Drummond was born 19 April 1804 in Jefferson Co., N. Y. My records show that John and Abigail were married 2 July 1829 in Jefferson Co., NY. Maybe this is also where Lucretia and John Shawl were married? Hope this helps.
