I am attempting to locate information on my maternal great-grandfather, Joseph Barrett, born in Ohio about 1848. He was married to Nancy Elizabeth Lewis, had 3 sons (Walter, Claude and Charles) and lived most of his live in the area of Eagle, Nebraska. I've hit a deadend and would like to know more about him and his predecessors.
