Catherine Barrett gave up daughter, Jewell-Anne Barrett for adoption. I am Jewell-Anne. I Was born 4/26/57 at St. Joseph's hospital in Syracuse, NY. (Onondaga County). I don't know Catherine's exact age, but I've been told she was in her teens when she had me, so Barrett would be her maiden name. I don't know where she was from, but she may have stayed in a maternity home in Syracuse during her pregnancy. I was in foster care until I was 3 months old then placed with my adopted parents and adopted in Watertown, NY (Jefferson County).
