I'm searching for ancesters or decendents of the following Barrie family. Robert H. Barrie b. 8 March 1838, married Elizabeth Robertson b.8 August 1841, on 31 Dec.1861 in Calton, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.They had two children in Scotland, Robert H., b. 1 Nov. 1862 Glasgow. and James R., b. 13 March 1864 Glasgow .They them immigrated to Massachusetts where they had ten more children, Alexander (my gggrandfather)b. 24 June 1866 East Boston d. 7 July 1940 Chicago, George b. 19 April 1868 Somerville Mass, Rebecca b. 24 May 1870 Chelsea Mass., Elizabeth b. 3 March 1872 Chelsea Mass., Margaret b. 20 Dec. 1873 Chelsea Mass., Jeannie b. 26 Nov. 1875 Chelsea Mass., Peter R. b. 20 July 1877 Chelsea Mass., Jeannie B. b. 28 May 1879 Chelsea Mass., Peter M. b. 2 Nov. 1881 Chelsea Mass., Daisy b. 3 Jan. 1883.My gggrandfather Alexander had at least two children probably in Chicago, Alexander and Eva. My ggrandfather Alexander married Gertrude Krause and had one son Gordon Webster. I obtained most of the above information from a family bible and I have more dates such as death dates and two obituaries from Scotland. Any help with this family is greatly appriciated.
