Hi sorry I missed your post, My wife is related to Barrowmans through her GGrandmother Mary Barrowman, born 1858 Wisconsin, M. John H. Smith Sep. 15 1878. They had a daughter Hazel Margaret Smith B. 1893 Mahaska County, Ia. Died 1957 Fort Dodge Ia. M. Earl Shugart 1915. Mary Barrowmans parents were William Barrowman B. 1823 Scotland and Agnes Kinnon B. 1825 Scotland. William was James Brother I believe.
