If anyone else is interested into hearing stories of both Jacob Jackson and of LaPrelate Barrows, James. A. Perham has written a book of the stories he has remembered from his growing up with his grandfather (LaPrelate) and his great grandfather (Jacob). Its called "A Tale of Three Grandfathers." My husband is a decendent of LaPrelate Barrows (LaPrelate is his 5th great grandfather).
