Looking for any connection to Anna Barrus-born in Cummington, MA in 1796-she married an Otis Bates in 1812-also born in Cummington-their marriage posted in Dalton, MA marriages. In the 1790 census of Cummington there was an Abiel Barrows listed but no Barrus-was this a name change or regional spelling? She remarried a Chester Packard in Ohio in 1851 and came to WI in 1852-where she was until her death.
