It is with sadness that I share the news given to me a short while ago that Tim and Jim Barrus- From the Barrus Goshen homestead area this evening lost their mom- Ruth Ellen Newell Barrus at the tender young age of 87.

Many of you may have chatted with Tim (Timbarrus@aol.com) or Jim (Bmntywish55@aim.com) in regards to Barrus Genealogy. Both we always very helpful to me, and I had the great pleasure this summer of traveling to the Goshen area to view where some of the Barrus Family ancestors came from. Their mom was there at the family homestead, when we visited.

I know she was a very special lady who raised 2 very special boys (and a daughter whom I didn't get a chance to meet), while we were traveling through Massachusetts.

Prayers for their families to find comfort within their hearts in knowing that their mom is now at peace in paradise and no longer suffering of ill health here on earth.
