I appreciate your info. The 1880 Toledo, Oh census lists Anna Casey as wife of Michael Casey, age 25. I do see in the 1900 census where Minnie Barry is listed as a niece (of Anna Barry. She was 30, born in NY in 1869. It says her father was from Ireland and mother NY. I have no info of a brother of Anna's, which seems strange. I wonder if it is the same Anna Barry.
The ancestor of mine who came here is Dennis Casey, from County Cork, Ireland. He married Eliza Buckley in Syracuse at St. John the Baptist Rectory. They had 2 sons, William, who stayed in NY, and Michael, who came to Toledo in 1874, Michael was married to Anna Barry. They had 7 sons. It is thought the Barry's, Buckley's, and Casey's were friends in Ireland and may have come here together, but I can't find ship logs. I would love to see your documentation.
